Allan - The First Two Weeks

We left Brisbane and we headed North. James's brakes were going weird so we only got to Fernvale. That night James caught a catfish, Jake caught an eel and a perch and Dad caught a catfish. All of us packed up and headed to ban Ban Springs. Ban Ban Springs isn't much of a site, it's just uncut grass with rocks and no water. We left Ban ban Springs and headed for Monto. When we arrived at Monto, we went one kilometre out of town to Mum's friend, Sue Fisher's house and yes she has a lot of dogs. She cooked us a lovely dinner. My favourite was the shepherd's pie. That night I played PS2 (play station 2). That morning it was time to hit the road. We heading for Moura and camped at a free stay on the Dawson River. Jake and I went fishing straight up. That night we went biking in the mud and after that we all had mud fights. I egged Jake and Connor egged me. The next day we just got fire wood. The following day we fished all day. The next day we went to Rolleston to see the great Carnarvon Gorge. It was exciting to be in the Carnarvon Gorge. Mum saw an echidna and we all saw a kangaroo up close. That was the first two weeks of our trip.
